Spool with 30m of 0.2mm diameter wire. Alloy Nickel (80%) Chrome (20%).

Perfectly suitable for hot wire foam cutting machines.

As a rule of thumb to calculate current and voltage needed to heat the wire, consider 1,3A whatever the length of the wire is, and 1V every 1,5cm of length of wire. Example: use 24V to power up 35-40cm of wire. The wire will accept both DC and AC current.

Wire must be hot, but not vivid red, just a dimmed orange barely visible is acceptable. If it's too hot, reduce voltage or use a wider cutting length. If it's too cold, increase voltage or use a shorter cutting length.
